Any chance we could get a !scramble option for the BF3 daemon? I am getting a lot, a lot of requests from my 3x64p servers to do something about the teamstack/steam rolling that is happening.

Even something simple, like balancing the top 16 players, and/or players above 2.0kdr. It should just be a simple task of moving the selected players to team neutral, sorting them, and then placing them on the needed teams. Quick and dirty

Thanks!

!scramble should already work for BF3.

Is there a list of all the in-game admin commands?

If I set two auto messages both at every 10 minutes, will they both pop up every 10 minutes or spread out 10 minutes apart? I want it to say one of a few different messages every 10 minutes if possible.

I tried the on-join messages and they do not seem to work, has anyone else seen this?

Is there a list of commands/variables that can be used in the auto messages or just text?

They would appear after one another every 10 minutes.

Yes, BF3 does not allow direct "say" to players right now, so those can't work.

There's only text and %player% for on_join messages right now (which doesn't do anything because we can't send directly to players).

Edge, I've noticed when I add multple "auto" messages (BF3) that when they share the same timer all the messages will basically spam one after another. So if I have two messages set for 5m, the first goes, then the second very shortly after (5 seconds?). It's not spread out every 5m like it's set to. I've tested with 10m too and it does the same thing.

Yes, that is the designed behavior.

Bummer... Since that basically fills the chat up, are there any plans to implement a true cycling advert? Like a list of different messages that goes top to bottom once every 5 minutes (or higher)? I'd like to avoid ProCon or anything like that.

It's something I can consider. You can also do this server-side with Punkbuster, without needing to run any sort of client.

I was wondering since I remember something like that in COD4. Any chance you could point me in the right direction? Having trouble finding anything BF3 related.

This is one page that talks about it: http://www.punksbusted.com/wiki/index.p ... d_Messages. They're fairly powerful but a little tricky to set up.

Thanks but I figured it out. I posted an article on how to do it on the dedicated vds forums in case anyone else asks. I think it was the wrong forum though :(. Daemon tool works great for everything else I need!

It would be great if a 'auto-scramble' feature could be added to the Easy Setup options. So that at the end of each round and or map change the teams would scramble. Having this feature would be another step towards not needing to use PRoCon.

I've added an auto-scramble feature in beta under the "Admin daemon" section now.

It says scrambles after each round.
Should it not happen after map change and not round?

Or is that what you mean?

The request was for per-round, so I made it per round.
