Not sure where I went wrong...

Post by Genferret »

First off, is there still the free website hosting with server rentals? If not then the rest of my questions are pointless and you can stop reading now. :P

If there are still free website hosting with game server rentals, is this all game server types? I have a L4D server, and have since NFO first released them (in fact I started my rental as soon as they were offered here). For the most part just a small group of us use it, and only on occasion when testing something have I set it public without a search key.

However, I'd like to toss some information regarding the server out on a website for my friends who use the server. Just the basic usage stat graphs and etc.

Anyhow, long story short, what am I doing wrong in trying to find a way to setup the website that comes(came?) with game server rental?

I've tried searching the forums but everything out there talks about a button on the control panel that I'm not seeing. I have a Websync button, but that just tells me that I need to setup a website before I can use that feature.

Here's what my control panel looks like when I open it up:

Maybe I'm missing something, but after about 2 hours of searching the forums, reading FAQs, and clicking through menus on the control panel I decided to just suck up my pride and ask. :P

All existing customers with websites had them automatically converted to the new system. If you didn't have a website before, you'll need to reconfigure your package through our order page, which will automatically add one in: https://www.nfoservers.com/order.php.

Got this taken care of last night between IRC and E-mail.

Once again outstanding customer support by the NFO team.
