Server rentals :: NFOservers.com

i have recently got a killing floor server and i cant connect to it as in i cant find it on the server list or searching by ip?

Do you have any filters set that could be blocking you from seeing it? Have you asked to see if anyone else can see it in the master list?

peope were playing it right after it went up and i used steam to search for the server

i know server location can effect connectivity but will it not let me connect to the server if im to far away?


eg.
server: Denver, CO, USA
Me: kelowna, BC ,Canada

The location shouldn't prevent you from connecting, no.

When you try to connect directly, what error do you receive?

its not that i get an error but when i search for the ip or try to join by clicking on some from the server the steam windo pops up and says the server is not responding

The Steam network does that sometimes, but you should still be able to connect directly without using the list. Have you tried connecting that way?

so i got it to work but my server is sooooo slow when your downloading from it???
like 50kbs slow or even slower

I am assuming you are running a mod or custom maps? If so you will need to run a websync and sync the files to our fastDL server or the transfer rate will be capped at something like that.

and the mutators are staying off i set them to be on and restart the server and then there off even the ones that come with the game

Where are you turning them on? Make sure to do it on the command line through the "Server control" page.

The downloads through the game will be slow, as kraze said. That's just how the game was designed. Websync will fix this.

i can only get one to work at at time on server start up?

and how do i do the fast download i have websync but the downloads are still really slow

Go to the websync tab in your control panel and click on "Sync files now".
