Not sure if it's a bug or not, but I've always used the 'view active topics' link at the top to view the latest threads. Lately I haven't been seeing any in there so I thought there was no new threads. Just checked and there was tons of new threads, however they never showed up in the 'view active topics' link. Possibly a bug, or maybe John turned it off?

I haven't disabled that function, but it's possible that the phpBB upgrade mangled it somehow. It's something that I'll have to investigate.

That would be wonderful. I just find that's the easiest way to check new topics, instead of going through each forum individually. Hopefully get that feature working again .

The way that I do it is by marking everything as read, then just visiting the forums and posts that it tells me are new. I'll have to give your method a look when it's working again.

Just to add, I do it by the same method. At some point I hit "mark all as read" and as staff I have since then hit anything that shows as there being new posts. I then check those showing new posts from the point that I last read (or think I have read) to see what new was said. It may not be the most simple approach, but I find it the most through.

That way does work, but the view active topics works best for me. I view all new posts everytime I login, so next time I login I just hit 'view active topics' and it shows me who has posts new posts in new and previous threads. Been working for a long time, up until a couple weeks ago. Not to sure what happened though.
