Re: A Suggestion For Null Routes
IcEWoLF, your null isn't really related to the other posts in this thread. SJ overall sees few attacks and few null-routes, thankfully. I haven't really seen others besides you attacked there. The person triggering an attack (literally) pays something for it, often, to the "booter" author...

Re: A Suggestion For Null Routes
8 hours of null route...who is going to pay for this? The customers...SJ is becoming an awful location to be in.

Re: Extreme Server Lag
Considering a dedicated machine but SJ only has the most expensive dedicated machine only E3-1271v3...which is $210, definitely out of our budget...
Since SJ is probably a smaller location than the bigger ones, we should be able to get the cheaper priced machines in here :/

Re: Extreme Server Lag
I personally haven't been happy with either of my servers on my managed vds server. At times its just lag...its a 6 core server too... We run pretty basic servers without many mods. I might consider a dedicated machine later on this year if there is another sale. The issue here is a server misconfi...

Re: Xenforo on NFO website
APC use to cause issues for us too..we decided to disable it.TacTicToe wrote:**Just tried that work around. Seems dis-abling the APC cache took care of it, it NOW works!
I had a feeling that APC might be the culprit. Thanks John as always youre awesome!!!
Memcached is much better, NFo should consider it.

Re: Xenforo on NFO website
Did you change the URL key to the proper link on the steam dev site? You can only use one active key per site. http://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey I think the following are already enabled on NFo's end: Additional Requirements: BCMath, allow_url_fopen = 1 (cURL recommended), OpenSSL, Steam Web API ...

Re: Xenforo on NFO website
That would be the one. If I could figure out how to make my domain name point to my vds here I would just stick with my vds setup and drop the NFO web hosting. I'm pretty good with Windows, but am weak with Linux. I can get by, but it takes me longer than someone that knows what they are doing. VDS...

Re: Xenforo on NFO website
I don't use NFo for my web hosting needs, I have a managed vds server elsewhere and never had an issue with Steam integration.
There are two steam addons over at XenForo, at your using this one? http://xenforo.com/community/resources/ ... tion.1336/
