64 Slot BF3 Servers - the longest yours has run without cras
I am just curious. If you have a 64 slot BF3 server - what is the longest it has actually stayed up without crashing? Our actually ran for 19 hours straight recently and then out of the blue, early this morning it crashed. Prior to r8 it wouldn't go much longer than 4 or 5 hours, so things appear to...

Re: Server Down and NFO Site and Panel?
We have two "by the slot" servers - a 64 and a 16 At 13:04 PST the 64 slot crashed (procon logs) At 13:05 PST the 16 slot crashed (procon logs) We could not even access the NFO CP until 13:13 PST - simply could not connect I would really like to know the reason behind this one.... Updated ...

OK, how do you do this in procon for BF3 and/or BC2? I'd love to have that capability.
Procon - upper right corner, Tools > Options > Basic
Check the boxes.

Re: Where can I see if my BF3 server crashed?
Go to your Server Usage tab in the NFO CP and look at the top graph Keep in mind it only shows 5 minute increments. That first spike down on the left is a full crash which repopulated quickly. You can see we had a major crash around 4 PM and it took almost two hours to get the server full again 11-6...

BF3 Console Commands
I don't believe the commands listed in the NFO admin daemon apply to BF3? http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=4510 I found this to be extremely helpful -------------------------------------------------- Communication -------------------------------------------------- admin.say ...

Re: B3 Stats Tracking
Mysql - yes Actually the database is hosted with NFO as part of our free webspace. NFO allows outside connections to it which works great since our Procon Layer server is being run from one of my computers at home. Re: B3 Stats Tracking
Procon had a plugin that would do this for BC2 and they are currently working on a Bf3 version. One of the problems appears to be that there are so many different types of weapons It takes a little work to get it setup - but it is pretty cool Here is a link to our stats page if you care to see what ...

GitSum, being told that something is being worked on is a good thing. This is not equivalent to blowing you off, if that's what you're thinking. Customer input is appreciated and absorbed, then applied to make our systems better. Waiting lists for availability are rarely needed because locations ar...

Re: Screenshot link
We have been pretty pleased with NFO so far, but I keep seeing a recurring theme. When someone asks for something or makes a suggestion, the canned response is "we are working on it" or it is on "Johns to do list" etc etc I still can't believe that as an existing customer, if we ...

Re: Screenshot link
I will admit that I did not read through all three pages of this post... The problem I see with WebSync, and please correct me if I am wrong - Although it generates a web page were we can access the screen shots, it will only automatically sync the screen shots at 5 AM each morning. The only way to ...

Re: How To Install Punkbuster Webtool For BF3
I found that if you are using Chrome as a web browser it wont work. There also may be an issue with the port setting. Try setting the port to 80 to avoid firewall issues.
I would go back and edit my post to include this - but I can't

Re: Server Crashing Thread
This is from our server usage graph and roughly shows 24 hours - 5 am Thurs to 5 am Fri You can see we had about 6 crashes during that time frame, but we were able to stay on top of things and get the server repopulated until it died out in the wee hours. Current with r5, we were using Procon but I ...

Re: bf3/procon
Can anyone confirm if the ProCon tool can kick/ban players without the server crashing? We have Procon layer server running to handle both of our BF3 servers and it is scaled back to just some very limited functions like kick or ban. I know there are problems with the map list so avoid using them. ...

Re: How To Install Punkbuster Webtool For BF3
Good post - but the webtool is disabled by default because the port is set to 0 You can easily enable the webtool in the NFO control panel by editing the file which will retain the settings Go to the NFO file manager Find pb/pbsv.cfg set it to edit, click on submit Find these three lines (about 1/3 ...

Re: No Players Joining...
We have been fortunate so far that are server has been almost completely full, even from the get go. We have had a number of server crashes, and each time I hold my breath - but we have been able to get re-populated again rather quickly I posted this in another thread, here it is again, the setting ...
