I've had to change my question a couple times over the last few years. Currently the one below seems to be working fine.

Re: new registered users posting
Hmm that is weird. It should work if you can get past that error. All I can suggest is clearing your cache or updating/refreshing your board style. I am no expert by any means but I do go to phpbb.com for support when I can't figure something out. Here is an excerpt from a post I found there: Two th...

Re: new registered users posting
So have you tried: going to your Admin Control Panel > Permissions > Group forum permissions Selecting Newly Registered Users Select the forum(s) you wish them to be able to post w/o approval in and hit submit. Click Advanced Permissions Go to the Misc Tab Change "Can Post Without Approval"...

Re: GameTracker will not recognize server name!
I had that same issue a few months back when I tried. I just decided to give up and use some other banner website (minecraftviewer).

Re: SteamPipe/SteamCMD conversions?
Going to the lastest 1.6-dev seems to resolve the basecommands and basevots issue. Working good now.

Re: SteamPipe/SteamCMD conversions?
Cool. I use ultimate mapchooser though which works fine so I don't need to touch that default file. In addition to the two remaining plugins with load issues, I am wondering why the error log says /home/builds/sourcemod/ linux-1.5 /build/plugins/ I have a Windows Managed Server...so is it possible t...

Thanks, that took care of the nextmap.smx not loading issue.

Re: SteamPipe/SteamCMD conversions?
After you guys performed the conversion for me (tf2 servers on a managed VDS), three of the basic sourcemod plugins are not loading. I'm running version 1.5.0-dev+3834. Load Errors: Basic Commands: Error detected in plugin startup (see error logs) Basic Votes: Error detected in plugin startup (see e...

Re: Player Dumps
No this has nothing to do with matchmaking. I run a 24 slot vanilla server and I highly doubt player dumps would be something valve does to penalize any server. I did some alterations to the settings on one of the scramble plugins I run and I haven't seen it dump since which is a good sign. I hope t...

Player Dumps
Anyone else experiencing player dumps the past week or so? I swear my server (on a VDS) empties out like 10 times a day now and the logs don't show errors. The server itself doesn't crash, everyone "times out" and the same map remains on. I've updated MM and SM to the latest and nothing se...

Re: Help with Tekkit setup.
On the Server Control page of your control panel, do you have Tekkit.jar selected from the drop down? If not, select it, hit change jar, and restart your server.

Re: Considering moving to HLSTATSX:CE
Edge, is there a 1.6.17 version of the Sourcemod plugin for this? The autoinstaller is at 1.6.15. I am having some issues since I moved to 1.6.17 a few days ago and was wondering if this may be a reason for thm.
Re: Thanks
Do you have a high-level timeframe for the Atlanta one being implemented?

denial of service attack question
I have a managed vds and the event log always says "against a customer"...can you identify which customer it is? If it is me I would like to be able to know that, I may shut down my trade server or take a more active approach in adding IPs of banned players to the firewall rules.

I was curious to see if anyone knew what this new file I have now just seen on my TF2 servers. They are apparently very large files. Here is a snippet of it: 7513.136413/499941 Player [Shaowz][4][adr:173.170.5.232:61443] was sent a datagram 320000 bits (40000.000 bytes) NET_Tick : 70 bits ( 8.750 by...
