Re: Goodbye vBulletin, hello XenForo!
vBulletin is god aweful after 3.8.x. Partially because another company bought it over. XenForo is pretty awesome in terms of features, and its a good alternative for smaller communities (in terms of price). Its significantly faster than IPB in terms of performance too.

DDOS Affecting Matchmaking?
Hello all, So around a week or two ago, I purchased a BF3 server from NFO, I am a previous customer in the past, top notch support, performance and all that. At any rate, I managed to max out my server for the weekend as well as Monday, Tuesday, and part of Wednesday. However, since the DDOS announc...

Re: dedicated server
The E31270 says it can host 250-300 players connected at once, but it can host more at a max of 500-600. Tell me what you think. Theres a difference between connected players at once and actual slots. You can certainly host 500-600 slots, but when you fill up 500 slots you will have laggy servers a...

Re: BF3 on SSD?
Most likely it wont for BF3, but when you have a server such as deathrun in css with 15 minute map changes it helps with the load.
I personally like it and I do notice a faster change it maps, with battlefield's map change history I am sure it will help.

BF3 on SSD?
Just curious, the dedicated servers you guys sell offer SSD upgrades, I run a home server from an SSD and I love it, any chance game server customers will be able to get on an SSD?
I want to get a dedicated, but if I host 4 x 64 the cost ($259.99+$64 rental fee) is much too high.

Re: srcds.exe cs:s max
I just want to add, try running at lower FPS if you haven't already. +fps_max 300 instead of +fps_max 500.

Re: Homefront
OK HomeFront is out..... I have a few Q's 1. What does NFOservers offer with the game homefront? Meaning....Will I have a easy setup admins like Bad Company2? 2. Why does it cost so much with NFO for HomeFront slots vs other GSP'S? 1. It depends on where you are comming from, the NFO panel is diffe...

I am just curious. I really want to get those dedicated server files on my box early.

Re: Homefront
Did they say how the server files will be distributed? Like will it be via steam hldsupdatetool or do we have to copy the game files like COD?
Just curious.

Do you have links for what you suggest? I am not very good at choosing NIC cards, and I just want the best one.

Re: Homefront
Any idea if they are using the ranked server method? Or allowing public server files like CS:S?
