I forgot to reiterate that we feel this can't only be our accounts. That seems pretty far-fetched that suddenly everyone has to go delete files to be able to only play on our server and they don't have to for others servers.

Most people just shutdown steam and delete clientregistry.blob, which fixes most steam client issues. This issue has to do with the fact that you initially had the issue on your game server with Valve...
